Is an idea for a completely new kind of group, which aims to train families
in the Stonehouse area to use puppets for fun and for performance. It has
recently been awarded a substantial grant by the Millennium Reading Families
Award Scheme to undertake a project aimed specifically at recruiting
families with any perceived literacy problems to use a range of experiences
with puppets to improve literacy, confidence building and co-operation
skills.
